How far along?:  33 weeks
Maternity clothes: Tunics, leggings, and cardigans will be my staples this fall!
Best moment this week: I had my baby shower that my mom and sister threw me on Saturday! It was so amazing to spend the day with some of my favorite women in the world! I am just overwhelmed and thankful for how blessed we are and how loved this little man is already!
Miss anything?: Seeing my feet?
Movement: Always!
Food cravings: Fall favorites: basically anything apple and pumpkin!
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yes.
Gender prediction: It’s a boy!!
Looking forward to: Michael and I have carved out some time this weekend just for the two of us to work on getting things ready for Pipsqueak!

We didn’t have time to get to the store to get a squash, so we had to go with a picture from the internet this week! haha

How far along?:  32 weeks
Maternity clothes: Yup! I am so happy that the cool, fall weather is here! It’s time to bust out the cardigans and scarves…a much welcomed change to my wardrobe right now!
Best moment this week: I have been a delinquent about posting. Michael has been taking the picture every Sunday, but it’s just been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to post. Since I’ve posted last we have celebrated my 25th birthday and our first wedding anniversary, took our weekend-long childbirth class, and have gotten some major work done in the nursery!
Miss anything?: Breathing. haha I periodically have to take deep breaths just to get enough oxygen. Michael keeps thinking I’m sighing and asking what’s wrong…oh nothing, just trying to breathe!
Movement: It seems to be constant!
Food cravings: Fruit and lots of it.
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yes.
Gender prediction: It’s a boy!!
Looking forward to: My mom and sister are throwing me a shower this weekend, which I am just so excited for! I can’t wait to see my friends and family that I don’t get to see nearly often enough!
with michaelClearly we still have a bit of work to do in the nursery, but the walls are painted and the crib and furniture are all in place! Michael is going to paint a mural behind the crib…more pictures to come!

How far along?:  29 weeks
Maternity clothes: Yes, but I can still wear a lot of my pre-pregnancy tops and dresses. I’m beginning to have wardrobe meltdowns where I just feel as though nothing fits right and everything looks horrible. Not fun, and also not rational. haha
Best moment this week: It’s hard to believe we are now in the third trimester! Time has just flown by! I spent last week at Wyldlife Camp with the middle school kids I work with. It was exhausting, but a great time! My best friend Shannon just had her first son the end of July and I finally got to meet little man Finn over the weekend and he is just the cutest little thing!
Miss anything?: An uninterrupted night’s sleep…but I suppose that’s my body getting me ready for what’s to come!
Movement: I am supposed to start counting kicks now. They say I should be feeling 10 kicks in two hours…well Pipsqueak here gets those 10 kicks covered in about 2 minutes!
Food cravings: I haven’t been able to get enough onions this past week. Not raw, and not just onions, but more sauteed onions in things.
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yes.
Gender prediction: It’s a boy!!
Looking forward to: We have a big weekend this coming weekend! My birthday and our wedding anniversary!
2nd trimesterA side by side look at my second trimester.
It’s funny that I thought I was showing already in those early pictures!
